Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to WCAG 2.1 AA, the European Accessibility Act, the ADA and the UK Equality Act.
Last updated: 2026-09-14.
Lets Connect Card LTD is committed to making letsconnectcard.com and the associated digital-profile service usable by as many people as possible, including customers with visual, auditory, motor and cognitive disabilities.
Standards we target
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the technical baseline for our website and digital-profile UI.
- European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) — applicable to e-commerce services in the EU from 28 June 2025.
- UK Equality Act 2010 and the US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III for reasonable-accommodation obligations.
Measures currently in place
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>) on every route. - Keyboard-navigable interactive elements with visible focus rings.
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and social links; alt text on product imagery.
- Colour contrast tokens meeting WCAG AA against the primary background across light and dark themes.
- Form fields with associated labels and error messages announced via
aria-live. - Sequential heading hierarchy for screen-reader navigation.
- Responsive breakpoints from 320px upwards; 44×44px minimum tap targets on primary controls.
Known limitations
- Some legacy blog images uploaded before 2025 may lack descriptive alt text — we are working through the archive.
- The interactive 3D card visualisation on the homepage falls back to a static image when reduced-motion is preferred; users on very old browsers may not receive the fallback automatically.
- Third-party checkout components (Stripe, Razorpay) are outside our direct control; both vendors publish their own WCAG conformance statements.

United States: ADA complaints can be filed with the US Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, at ada.gov/file-a-complaint.

Findings by rule (aggregated across 20 routes)
| Rule | Impact | Instances | Routes | Remediation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
button-name — buttons must have discernible text | Critical | 23 | 19 | Fixed — 2026-09-14 |
label — form controls must have accessible labels | Critical | 2 | 2 | Fixed — 2026-09-14 |
color-contrast — text must meet 4.5:1 (3:1 large text) | Serious | 90 | 6 | In progress — target 90 days |
region — all content must sit within a landmark | Moderate | 518 | 20 | Planned — Q4 2026 |
heading-order — headings must not skip levels | Moderate | 7 | 6 | Planned — Q4 2026 |
aria-allowed-role — ARIA roles must be valid | Minor | 28 | 4 | Planned — Q4 2026 |
Interpretation
- No violations at catastrophic level; the highest-frequency critical issue (
button-name) was a small set of icon-only controls (cart, quantity steppers, select triggers) missingaria-label— now fixed. - The high count on
regionreflects footer and marquee decorative wrappers outside<main>landmarks — no user-blocking impact, flagged for structural cleanup. - Colour-contrast failures cluster on hero gradients over which secondary/muted text is placed; token adjustment planned.
- All keyboard navigation, focus order, form submission and screen-reader landmark tests pass.
Remediation commitment
We will fix all Critical findings within 30 days of this report and all Serious findings within 90 days, in line with our published SLA. A repeat automated audit will run monthly; results will be republished here.
Next step
A formal independent WCAG 2.1 AA conformance audit by an accredited third party has been scoped and will be commissioned in the next quarter. Its findings and the resulting VPAT / EN 301 549 conformance statement will replace this self-assessment on publication.
